Took a trip to the local antique store and brought home a few friends (all from 1950s, I believe).

1st two (the light blue halo and the cream Juliette cap) are early to mid 1950s (they both only have union labels which makes more research difficult).

The candy straw hat with velvet roses is a tricky one. Initially I thought 1960s cliche. But, after I got it home and was able to do more research, candy straw hats were super popular in the late 1940s-early 1950s (part of the 'New Look' style). And the brim is shorter in the back making it closer to a 1940s bonnet-style than a cloche. So, current best guess is early 1950s.

Final pic is a gorgeous 1950s dress that was there. Sadly I had to leave it behind because it was waaaay too expensive (and small). Which is a shame. My blue halo would look wonderful with it.

Finished my doll (I named her Sarah Clarke)! I did mess up with the shoes (try not to look too closely at them... I'm going to have to do it differently with Mr. Clarke).

Also added some shelves above the stove (made of balsa wood and cardstock) and got a nice tablecloth for her table (it's a doilie that has been hairsprayed into shape). My grandma always had a lace tablecloth growing up. She'd carefully remove it for every meal then put it back afterwards. Mrs. Clarke, here, does the same.
