I rlly love Good While It Lasted and wanted to get some ideas on what other people think a couple lines mean that I wasn’t sure about..

“Last night I didn't sleep at all, I found another empty wall, And I couldn't get past it”

“A mattress on the palace floor and a light I'd never seen before”

I was thinking the first one is like mentally running into a wall? Not sure the 2nd.. sleeping in an unfamiliar place? Would love to hear your thoughts
