LSS: I did all the distances in 1 day = am I an Ironman (70.3) now?
I was an on and off runer for years. (HM distance)
Did 2025 and 2026 (in April) a Marathon (around 4h20min).
Going to the gym on a regular basis (endurance > weights) for the last year and took runing training more serious.
Was thinking about doing an Ironman 70.3 next, cause the public swimming pool opend up and i really like swimming, how hard can cycling be? But i dont have a pro bike, so I went to the gym...
~1h swiming - 40 lanes (50m each), little breaks between each 10 lanes
easy changing - transfer to the gym with e-bike (not counting that of course)
i know its 100m to much, but recently i turned 40 ;)
~3h10min on the gym bike - pace close to 30km/h (needed to restart every hour = small breaks). easy changing - transfer to the track field incl. a bad lunch decission.
~2h44min Halfmarathon - did sets of 10 loops on the track field. (learned that not every lane is 400m). Stomach problems slowed me down pretty bad, hot day and missing water supply.
Whats your opinion? It was all about doing all 3 distances in 1 day.
Edit: I already did it - 09:00 start - 17:30 finish. 8.5h including small breaks / changing locations / gear.
