People who attach their Xteink on their phone: does it still work?

Reading about people who've got their reader broken by seemingly simply looking at it I've become paranoid.

I am noticing that a lot of you still uses their X4 or X3 attached to their phone, is the device doing ok?

E-ink screens are notoriously fragile.
Packing them in direct contact with something as hard as the cardboard of the box is a recipe for disaster.

The screen should face inward with something very soft in direct contact with it so that the inevitable impacts during shipping are properly absorbed.
