I've lived in the area for 9 years now and it seems over the last couple of years the humming coming from the docks has been increasing and is now constant. In the past it would be there for a day or two and then stop. Almost as if the docks changed their rules on letting boats keep their engines on while docked.

It doesn't affect my partner so I guess I'm just more sensitive to it. But it's genuinely driving me mad. Any docks workers here know the score? or any one else driven mad by the low droning?

Surely if there's enough of us we can get a noise complaint formed.
