Today I saw my gynaecologist, and told her that when I tried the estrogen pessaries she prescribed me (OeKolp) I had a very strong burning and itching reaction, which made me stop. She told me that the burning means that the mucosa of my vagina is so in need of the estrogen that it burns initially, because the tissue has become so sensitive from estrogen deficiency. Has anyone else been told this?
