Failed a class my last semester, what to do?

Well, I hoped I wouldn’t make this post. But senioritis got to me and I failed a class. I was set to graduate this semester. According to my advisor, I was supposed to pass all my classes, regardless of grade (in theory, I could’ve gotten a D- in all of my classes).

The funny thing is, I did well on the finals, my attendance just caused a lot of my grade downfall. But yeah, given I failed and didn’t meet all the grad requirements, I’ll need to retake it over the summer.

This is not good. My family is planning on flying in to see me walk. But do I even get to walk at this point? I accepted a full time job offer as well. However my starting date is up in the air as I need to get some licenses over the summer.

I’m embarrassed and ashamed at myself. I planned this whole upcoming weekend to graduate. I took photos, have relatives coming in, and told my parents I was confident I did well this semester. It’s just so unexpected and frustrating. I know my parents aren’t going to be happy at all.

So what now?

This is my band's newest single off of our upcoming album, Doppelgänger, which is set to release this summer. Any comments or critiques are greatly appreciated!
