Playing with Hungary and my new faction leader has 1 authority. Any army I send out of a city rebels in 1 or two turns. What's a good way to raise authority?

Was looking for the demo on switch 1 but could not find it. Is it because it just isn't available anymore, or because the game will only be launching on switch 2?

I kill hundreds of units with my melee and missile units but their experience builds so much slower than with cavalry units. Is that normal?
