Anyone ever get their channel back after the latest purge?

Just curious if anyone has actually gotten demonetized under the new inauthentic content purge and been accepted back into the program after deleting, correcting whatever the trigger was? Or if it’s just a way to not pay creators and run ads on their content anyway for free.

I got hit with inauthentic content/mass production and demonetized even though I have an education channel on screenwriting and filmmaking and only 60 have videos published.

I’ve been monetized for over a decade and don’t upload but a few times per year. I use my face and voice. I post short films with real people I’ve filmed. I do video essays breaking down movies just using images.

Last year I uploaded like six or seven Sora clips just out of curiosity so that slop probably got me jammed up. I also used AI (kling and nano banana) to animate a few short three minute sci-fi stories I wrote without AI. I did not check the box before publishing that says it was AI now that I took a closer look. So that probably triggered YouTube’s system too I guess.

I deleted the Sora shorts after panicking once I got the email, but now I’m seeing that if you want to appeal you shouldn’t delete anything.

Question is…should I appeal this or just make the adjustments to my channel and reapply for monetization all over again in three months which is option 2 for me?

Also if you appeal and get rejected by their AI bots does that mean you’re out permanently? They say you can’t monetize any other channels if any of your channels have been demonetized and you can’t clear it up.
