We live in Colorado. Not sure if that matters, or if USAA is just a whole ass scam... But they raised our monthly premium by $130!!! We have not filed any claims in years! Only have 1 claim on there for a small amount of water damage from a frozen pipe.. that was about 3 years ago. I am not sure why it raised so much. We were already planning to shop around for new homeowners insurance anyway, and this just put the nail in the coffin for them. We switched to Allstate and saved over $2000, per year! Last year we also switched our cars to Allstate and saved over $100 per month! I am now convinced that USAA is taking advantage of military families and wonder if a class action lawsuit should be in order! (Not that I'm going to try, just that it should)
