(USA) Should we vote purely for infrastructure?

Voting sucks, the parties are different flavors of fascism, 100%.

But should we vote purely based on which parties promise to provide infrastructure? Namely public transit, or even new factories? Green energy initiatives?

Of course the parties routinely lie or underdeliver (just look at the ongoing failures of the massive CA rail project). But if the dems want to build trains and solar plants, should we vote for them purely for the chance of establishing more infrastructure for the future?

EDIT: To answer my own question, actually, I think this is probably a foolish mindset because whatever meagre gains are suggested by the Dems we can far more quickly and sufficiently deliver under a Socialist government, and voting for Dems for any reason will just continue to platform and legitimize them.

I have no clue how significant this is, but it's interesting when put in context with how she and other Olympic athletes have been politicized relating to China this year.
