I'm currently subscribed to the 100 GB Google One plan through Metro by T-Mobile. I want to sign up for Gemini Pro, but because my Google One billing is managed by a third party, I'm unable to.

It seems to me that the path is to cancel the Google One perk at Metro and then sign up for Gemini Pro directly from Google.

My concern is that I currently have about 25 GB of data across my Google services. I would have to empty my Google Drive and a good chunk of Google Photos to get below 15 GB.

Is there any way to make this transition while maintaining continuity of Google services such as Gmail? My concern is being locked down in Gmail and being able to receive emails while trying to sign up.

Anybody experience this?
