I have a cat who I adopted in September who is a very shy and nervous girl. She has opened up so much, and loves her home! However, she does get very nervous at things still. Fast movements, doors closing, the A/C turning on, etc.

She often hides under the bed, and then poops down there. It’s maybe one time a week she will pee or poop where she hides. We tested for UTI and had general check up, but she came back healthy. She will still use her litter, but just does this occasionally when no one is home.

Should I ask my vet for anxiety medication?
