With the Bolt, I love knowing exactly how many kwh have been used since the car was last fully charged. There is no guessing how the Bolt calculates efficiency because the numerator and denominator are clear and explicit.
It seems like most EVs, on the other hand, do not provide the driver with information about total energy used. This leads to wondering how the car calculates (1) efficiency and (2) percentage battery remaining.
This leads to problems when trying to determine the full battery capacity for range testing. Instead of reading from the screen, you have to calcuate from the efficiency and total miles used, which doesn't give a clear picture of capacity.
Any other EVs that provide total kwh used?
