100-400 issue?
So I have a weird question. I rented a 100 to 400 mm Sony Lens and I was trying to capture this bird here and it doesn’t quite zoom in all the way. I could easily zoom in on buildings or something further away, but it seems that it can’t let the bird take up the full frame on the photo. I’m sorry if it’s a dumb question, but I just wanted to get some clarity on this. I’m shooting it on a a 6400 so it’s about a 600 mm equivalent. The bird I would say is about 4 to 5 foot away from me. I’ve read reviews on the lens and have seen sample photos able to capture what I’m trying to achieve, but I can’t seem to nail it. Any help is much appreciated.
