trying to set up a camera system for a small warehouse and office combo, and honestly getting overwhelmed by all the specs. some cameras advertise really high resolution but then others focus more on night vision or motion detection features, not sure what actually makes a difference day to day.

for people who’ve already installed their own setups, what ended up being the most important things to get right? should I prioritize resolution, storage type, or something like smart alerts? just want something reliable that I won’t have to constantly mess with.
