A couple weeks ago I was supposed to. travel via train from Paris to Berlin. The day before departure I learned the train would terminate in Frankfort due to track work. I cancelled as recommend by SNCF, but had to book a flight instead.

Do I have any rights to reimbursement for the costs associated w flying?

A few important considerations:
-there was no options for a rebooking via train.
-I had an outgoing international flight from Berlin so obviously had to get there.

Any information, guidance , etc. is really appreciated! This turned into a very expensive situation with having to buy plain tix at the very last minute.
