Taking prozac/fluoxetine for the first time
So as the title says i will be taking fluoxetine for the first time soon (10mg) for depression and anxiety disorders. I am very scared. Not to get into it but catholic school really wants to scare you about drugs AT ALL (as well as other things). Having never taken a psychiatric medication before there are a number of worries i have, as is the nature of my anxiety disorder lmaoo. Im worried about feeling weird or getting worse, side effects, possible weight gain, feeling “high” (ik thats not what you’re supposed to feel but again catholic school weird environment), and just have a general sense of worry about the whole ordeal. I would really like to hear about your experiences. Thank you!
Edit: i just read some of y’all get hyperhydrosis from this med, i already have hyperhydrosis i am bouta be the dampest mf out there holy moly
