How are you even supposed to beat the Grey Demon right now?

I’m running P10 Escanor, P10 Tioreh, P5 Many, and P6 Guila and I still get almost instantly one-shotted even with full buffs and boosts active. This honestly feels ridiculous.

The biggest problem is that this Grey Demon doesn’t even feel skill-based. The moment I finally kill the Red Demon, the Grey Demon starts nonstop spamming abilities back to back. Sometimes I’m literally forced to run around in circles for 20-40 seconds straight just trying not to get hit, and then I STILL end up getting one-shot through 100k HP.

Like what am I even supposed to do there? Dodge forever? Because one mistake or one weird timing and you’re instantly dead no matter how geared or buffed you are.

Am I missing some hidden mechanic or is the fight genuinely overtuned right now?

So I just started playing Resident Evil Requiem and I’m honestly struggling hard, especially in the early game.

Right from the beginning it feels like you barely have any ammo or resources to actually defend yourself, so running away feels like my only option most of the time.

This is also my first time ever playing a Resident Evil game (and I haven’t really played many survival horror games in general), so I might just be missing something fundamental.

In tight corridors it feels almost impossible to get past zombies without getting grabbed or bitten. No matter what I try, I either take damage or have to run away immediately. Because of that, I can’t properly explore anything without getting pressured nonstop.

I can imagine this might just be a skill issue, but I genuinely don’t know how to learn the game properly.

For example, in The Last of Us you at least had space to create distance, reposition, and actually hide. Here it feels way more cramped and punishing, like I’m constantly forced into bad situations with no room to react.

Is the game intentionally designed this way?
Am I supposed to avoid enemies more instead of fighting them?
Are there mechanics like baiting, dodging, or movement tricks I’m missing?

Also please, I’m genuinely trying to improve — I’d really appreciate serious answers and not stuff like “delete the game”.
