Chinnapudu evarana dance estha ante "enti pedha Michael Jackson anukuntunava" ani chala common ga anevaru. Evarana baaga dance esthe Michael Jackson la esthunadu ani pogidevaalu, he was such a big star that people who didn't even know English or ever heard his songs knew who MJ was. Dance ante Michael Jackson ee. School lo unapudu evadiki ishtam ochinatu vaalu sollu chepevallu, MJ nose fake adi dance esthunapudu oodipothadi ani okadu, face motham burn ayindi ani okadu, jutu ledu adi wig ani, the peak faking was that he had his genitals removed so that he could dance better ani, inka chalane anevaalu depending on their creativity, oh and also that Prabhudeva and MJ danced together but video ledu ani, Prabhudeva being called the indian MJ added fuel to that fire. "History" was the first album that I remember clearly, Mtv ane oka channel lo MJ songs play chesthadu ani apudapude telisina rojulu. They don't care about us" was probably one of the first videos I saw, cassette cover medha MJ statue photo, his screams and weird noises when singing, that fast spin he does, standing on his toes, audience fainting in his concert videos, and then the moonwalk - probably the most iconic dance move of all time - like even being remotely able to do that move was like a big proud thing to show off - pilla bacha me ki mind blown avi ani choosi. Grew up listening to his songs, cassette nunchi CD ki, video shop ki veli oka empty disk lo video songs ekinchamani 50rs ki bargain cheyadam, aa tharavatha mp3 downloads, pendrive, and now to Spotify. Michael Jackson is more than just a singer or a dancer, he is one of the biggest pop cultural icons for every 90's kid. Epudo ekado oka post choosa, that Drake is bigger than MJ ani...gatiga navvukuna. MJ had the world in a chokehold before the internet was a thing, imagine if social media existed at his peak, nobody comes close to him.

So basically, "Michael" movie ki veladam jarigindi, and man what an experience it was in the theatre. Felt like a trip down memory lane. The actor was soo good, as it is dhimpesadu MJ ni, definitely go see it in the theatre if you can, crazy concert feel. I hope they make the 2nd part too.

I'm surprised with the negative reviews this movie got, it's not a masterpiece by any means but it was definitely entertaining. Based on the director's previous movies I went expecting some brainrot comedy and that's exactly what I got. Doesn't come anywhere near Mathu Vadhalara and I didn't like Happy Birthday that much, but at no point did I feel like wanting to leave the theatre for this one. It's Satya's show all the way. It did feel a little slow towards the end but overall I had a good time. If silly jokes and spoof-ish kinda movies are your thing then you'll definitely enjoy this movie.
