Public Service Grievance Board (PSGB) experiences?

Hi folks, has anyone reached out through the PSGB board to file a complaint for those in MCP/excluded/non-union roles?

I’m curious how it went or if there’s anything to be aware of besides the 14-day mandatory timeline to file before you lose the chance.

Are there any good lawyers or law firms that specialize in this or should I just focus on general employment lawyers?

TIA!

Someone filed a complaint against me for harassment and the employer has the duty to investigate. When I completed the necessary investigation steps, including a hearing with HR, I haven’t been contacted on the next step of my employment (ie. fired).

During the investigation, I provided a lot of evidence to the employer that the claims were false and the person who filed it abused the complaint process. In addition, it was found during the process, the complainant committed a human rights violation. I believe this is why this process is taking so long because the case is weak, even the internal investigation team closed the file on their end months ago.

Now, the employer is extending my paid administrative leave every 30 days under the guise that the investigation is ongoing. I’ve consulted with an employment lawyer and all they said was they can only action if I received a termination letter.

Is there anything I can do to speed up this case? Is this considered dismissal (even though it is paid)? Can I adjacently report the complainant to the Human Rights Tribunal and use the investigation as evidence of the Code violations?
