chronically absent aide

Was it bad to report aide to her supervisor? The first time she was reported was when my director realized she was chronically absent and hence not doing her bus duties. Since she is out alot and doesn’t call out the other bus aide is left alone with two groups of children. The director was upset but forgot about it and didn’t do anything until I asked union rep to please have director speak to aide about calling to let know when they are out (they never call and i have to juggle morning routines while texting her and then letting office know she is out.) Now I reached my limit this week and I am reaching out again to complain. This and last week I was left alone with 15 children no sub for aide and this is a common reoccurrence. I teach prek and this aide is absent every week she never been there a full week without calling out a day or two. She is definitely going through personal issues but it’s constantly affecting me and my job. I don’t know what to do.
