I make sample based music and have been dabbling with the tastychips GR-1 granular synthesizer. I love it and it can do some interesting things to samples, but the scope feels limited.
I’m curious what are people’s opinions on the S4?? I read it had a rocky release but has been getting decent reviews a couple updates past. Any insight much appreciated!
I’ve been playing on and off since 1.0, and I may be a victim of confirmation bias here, but I have a question dor the community:
*Does anyone else feel like their online character gets periodically locked into a drop table of some sort?*
I know the defaukt answer is “RNG is going to RNG” but I don’t remember things like this happening before.
I have found 6 duriel’s shells in maybe 8 hours of farming trav/meph, 3 Bartuc’a in 2 hours, other repeat uniques, for a week I was getting archon staves of all sorts very regularly, etc.
Sometimes in the same session (dozens of online map resets over a few hours) I find what seems an outlier amount of rares and uniques sharing the same base item, over dozens of sessions spanning a few days, sometimes amounting to a weird amount of repeat uniques/set items.
I know the traditional drop rates pretty well, but confirmation bias is a bitch and RNG is fickle, but rates feel as if there’s a seed component to loot population in the past while, which isn’t unprecedented for single player already.
Anyways, rambling over, what’s the consensus? Maybe a data miner has disproven this long ago for all I know.
