If the landlord issues Ground 1A to tenants with the intention of selling the property, what happens if they can't sell the property due to poor market conditions.

Are there any clauses that allows the landlord to relet the property short-term while it is being sold, if there is evidence that they are trying to sell but can't find a buyer?

So at the moment, to me it looks like the property just sits vacant for 12 months? Which ultimately reduces supply and drives costs up even more for renters.
