I moved to Sweden from the US recently and have had to do a career change due to the language (to continue with my former career I would need a much higher level of knowledge of Swedish which would take years). I started a HVAC (minus the V) course a few weeks ago and not only am I enjoying it but I can definitely see myself in this occupation long term. It is a bit difficult at times mostly due to the course being mainly in Swedish but I still find myself enjoying it. I was wondering if anyone could suggest any channels on YT, subreddits or any other pages/platforms that I could check out to help me at least with the basics in the beginning but also with more difficult areas later on as well. I feel as if I am a little behind most of the other individuals in the course because of the language barrier (they are all native Swedes) and so I could use all the help I can get. We have been solely working on wiring these first three weeks and the occupation here in Sweden is just heating and cooling (kyl- och värmepumpmontör) no ventilation, that’s another job/course entirely.
Any help or tips is greatly appreciated!!
