I arrived home last night after a 12 hour shift to find that none of the water in my apartment was working. I called the emergency maintenance number just to find out that it was not even connected to service. After contemplating my options for an hour, I drove and got a hotel room.
I brought the hotel bill to the leasing office today. They told me to pound sand. They do not care that there was no maintenance available or any running water. This seems like a blatant violation of our lease, am I do anything at all?
