I just finished my first playthrough of the game. I had the game for a while, but stopped playing it after a while. Came back to it a few months later and fell in love with the world again. Like the achievement hunter I am I began to do all the police scanners and gigs, hunted down every cyberpsycho, and bought way too many cars. Once I got enough achievements to be satisfied I figured it was time to finally end it.
I don’t know why I’m writing this. I just feel the need to describe what I’m feeling after completing the game. The drive to Embers was unnecessary. I could’ve just fast traveled, but I wanted to just take a drive through Night City one last time.
As for the actual ending I chose, well Temperance only seemed right. It left me with a sense of bitter sweetness that I can still feel as I type this. I’m obviously gonna play more, but this is probably the only time I’m ever gonna fully appreciate this feeling.
I love this game, and I guess I just thought I’d share that love with others who love the game as well.
