We thank everyone who shared their feedback on the current changes to the Mythic+ dungeon season. We agree that reducing the number of available dungeons has somewhat limited the variety of in‑game content and the opportunities to obtain loot. Therefore, with the upcoming update, all dungeons implemented for the Mythic+ mode will once again be available on the game realms. Additionally, the following changes will take effect for the Legion Plus x100 game realm:

  • Tyrannicaly Fortified affix:
    • Boss health bonus reduced from 30 % to 15 %;
      • Health bonus for non‑boss enemies and their minions reduced from 20 % to 10 %, and damage bonus reduced from 20 % to 15 %.
  • Item levels in challenge chest have been adjusted according to the keystone level (ranging from 945 at level 15 to 960 at level 21).

Information on the specific minimum Mythic+ points thresholds required for end‑of‑season rewards will be shared at a later date. The reward calculation criteria will remain unchanged — you can review them in this thread.

Cases that do or do not qualify for a character resurrection request;

A hardcore character can no longer be revived in case of a disconnect (lost connection to the server) / Game crash (txt log file from the Errors folder required) or any similar situation. In case if a death has occurred due to the server malfunctioning (npc/quest not working correctly etc.) character resurrection is possible, albeit not guaranteed, provided you have solid proof of the problem occurring in form of a Video recording and a correctly filed request in a designated Forum Topic. It is also worthy to mention that the process is not instantaneous and it might take some time.

Cases in which we will NOT be reviving player characters;

  1. We do NOT resurrect characters who die outside the faction capital from any npc mobs, under any circumstances. There are only two exceptions to this rule; the NPC Crithto, located in Stormwind, and the cases described below in the section "Cases in Which We Resurrect Characters" item #2.
  2. We do NOT resurrect characters if someone has brought mobs to you, and then exited combat with them transferring the aggro to your character, as well any quest events that are triggered by certain mobs or scripted events.
  3. We DO NOT resurrect characters if the mobs you have recently killed respawn near you. This is how dynamic respawn system works, and it has already been adjusted to ensure this almost never happens, but keep in mind; mobs will respawn faster in densely populated areas (not entire locations).

Anything not included in these lists is by default categorized as "Cases in which we DO NOT resurrect characters."

Important to note;
By enabling "Hardcore" mode you accept that if you die and don't meet the first four criteria, you character will NOT be resurrected, regardless of your level and playtime. In this mode, you must be attentive and careful, enable nameplates (ctrl+v), set up your character etc., as well as be familiar with the mechanics of quests and npcs on the server, as they may differ from other servers you've previously played on.

Cases in which your character can be revived and put into Hardcore again;

  1. If a character falls through textures under the map during a charge/blink or other movement ability and dies as a result. A screenshot of the character death position showing that the character died outside the playable textures will be required for confirmation. It's advisable, even if you've taken a screenshot, not to release from your corpse.
  2. If the connection to the server is lost (while the server is online and accessible by other players), only a VIDEO recording can be accepted for confirmation. The video recording of you fighting an npc mob, then disconnecting, and you attempt to log back in.

(Despite it not being our direct responsibility we understand that network issues and subsequent disconnects are relatively common due to various reasons. Therefore, in such cases, we will be lenient and provide the players with another chance.)

  1. If a character death has occurred due to a provably bugged quest , npc or an event that is entirely reproduceable and provided you have some sort of evidence such as a Video recording or a Screenshot of a Death log or anything that clearly shows a bugged nature of the cause of death. This applies only if you are the one initiating the event / quest / engaging the NPC, other player's actions resulting in your death do not fall into this category and will result in a rejection of your appeal.
  2. The server goes offline and your character dies as a direct result of it. But this only applies to this specific scenario, not a general disconnect due to a lost connection.

Additionally there have been changes made to how players participating in Hardcore receive experience from Daily quests and Massive groups of NPCs.

The format for submitting character resurrection request on the forum or in an in-game ticket (only this format will be reviewed).

  1. Nickname , realm name.
  2. Detailed explanation of the situation in which the death occurred (the more details the better)
  3. Screenshots / Video Recording or any sort of additional proof you can provide.
