So I previously posted a space I was looking to do a wall for the kids and thanks to some feedback I ended up changing the plan altogether. Really am a newbie too all of this and just want something safe and fun for the kids.
Hoping I could get some advice on what to do in terms of holds (sizing and placement). One of my kids gave it a try as is and it seems like it doesn't flow well. Is there a rule of thumb as far as the amount of holds and where specific holds are placed?
Also one member recommended doing something on the ceiling I'm still working on the flat portion of the ceilings (probably going to do some monkey bars) but for the angled portion of the rock climbing wall I'm wondering what people would recommend? Should I just put some holds up there as well or are there some swinging/hanging holds that would make more sense? I was limited by the bathroom door but I figured the kids would figure out how to get from one section to the other.
I put 3/8 t nuts all throughout the plywood section and can easily dismount the gray panels on the other wall to add and replace holds if needed.
Thank you all!
P.S. ignore the playmat I'll be putting down some large crash pads when the kids are using the space
