I am graduated in maths and currently doing a masters in Computer Science. I ve been working a lot with optimization and my advisor told me to read 5 chapters from a Rn analysis book ( Elon Lages - Curso de analise vol. 2) . Since ive studied real analysis in graduation and did well I thought it would be relatively easy (i thought everything would be analogous) but i am finding everything so much dificult. now im feeling really disapointed with myself. Today ive spent 4 hours studying, and ive read only 12 pages of the book … I have the habit to try to prove every result from the text before reading the solution, so it takes a lot of time. Any tips? How was your experience studying Analysis in Rn?
