So, I've been thinking about getting myself a laptop for college as I'm almost out of high school, but I don't want to spend a huge amount of money on one. (Looking to spend less than 200$) However, I would really like a convertible laptop that can become a tablet as I will be studying something art-related. I've seen some pretty decent tablets with keyboards on Amazon, and they have good reviews, but I'm not sure if that will be exactly appropriate for college. So, what do you guys think? If y'all have any regular laptop suggestions, lmk!

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US:

- as mentioned 200$ USD

Are you open to refurbs/used?

- if it's of a decent quality and good price, yes

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

- as mentioned, I would like a tablet/laptop combo

How important is weight and thinness to you?

- I would prefer something not too clunky or heavy

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

- N/A

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

- I will be running ibispaint on it most likely, as that's my main art program

If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

- This is mostly for college, but I would like to be able to play games on it. Nothing crazy.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

- Touchscreen preferred

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.

- I said most things in the above paragraph
