I'm pretty sure my new boss is out to fire me
SB- my immediate boss
BB - Big Boss
RC - Random (and my only) coworker
I joined this company 2 months ago. Both SB and RC has joined around 4-5 months before me. I have been having the feeling SB really dislikes me ever since our very first meeting. He always plays the helping friendly type when around others, but when only Sb, RC and me are around, he becomes a completely different person. He told me in front of BB to ask any time I need any help with anything, because he doesn't want me to have to suffer learning the job from documents, like they had to. But when I ask him in the Teams chat (the company barely uses emailing as a communication form between two people) neither he nor RC answers. I'm thankful if I can get an answer to one out of 5 of my questions, and that is usually 1+ days later. Which does not help if I need assistance with a ticket that I have a few hours to fix. So I gave up on that, and learned the job the best I can. But even after doing my best to match their speed, he's still making it harder for me to work on a daily basis. And now they called me in to take a test after my first 2 months.
I was about to go to lunch, when SB stopped me with the test (there were no prior communications about it up to that point). He told me I had 2.5 hours to finish more than 20 tickets. I asked him if I should do it now and take the lunch later or vice versa. He said let's take lunch first together.
At the end of the lunch I hexcused myself to go back to the test, as everyone has finished their food and now they were just talking. So I went back and started my timer. After only 1 hour and 3 minutes, SB came to collect my test. I told him I sti had 1 hour and 27 minutes ro go but he told me the time was up since he handed me the test over 2 hours ago (not even the 2.5 he originally mentioned). I was angry but I didn't show it and handed him my paper. I was gonna ace the next 2 segments anyways, who cares if I could only finish 5 tickets. But then my 15 minutes became 12 for the second segment and my 45 became 37 for the last one. And after all this I asked him if this was for me to keep my job or to see if I have more learning to do. He said "I cannot tellif you will be allowed to keep your job."
I haven't been anything but professional with this person but it really feels like he doesn't want me to be in his team or company...
