Hey guys. I live out in the woods but close to town so I ride a combination of urban twisties and fire trails with a little singletrack thrown in. Although I can get over most stuff with the OEM tires, I'm considering a pair of CST knobbies. My only concern is that I like riding fast on the street so it might be a dumb decision, as I will likely lose a bit of handling performance on road. I also anticipate that I will have to either modify, replace, or eliminate the fenders. Even if they clear the tires, I anticipate pulling up rocks being an issue.
