Why do paramedics leave, and why do they stay? (Survey request)
I am a working paramedic and an undergraduate student completing a capstone project about paramedic attrition in the United States. I want to hear directly from you - current and former EMTs and paramedics.
This survey will be used to analyze the reasons why ALS providers leave the profession, and why EMTs choose not to become paramedics. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete, and offers the opportunity to free write your thoughts and opinions on this issue. Even if you think your reasons for staying or leaving are something everyone already knows, I want to hear it.
I've linked the survey, with a complete ethics statement included. This is anonymous. I will not be publishing, but the results may help inform more in-depth research at a later date.
