Hi everyone,
Want some community advice (and maybe some hope!). I’m the elder sister in a small, independent family here in Indore. I had a love marriage, but my younger sister is the complete opposite of me.
She’s incredibly kind, spends her days working as a technician for a local dermatologist, and her free time is mostly spent meditating or with family. She’s a "beautiful soul" type—very simple and traditional—but she’s never used a dating app and honestly doesn't know how to talk to guys. Because our family isn't very social, her circle is basically non-existent.
I really want her to find a genuine connection, but we both hate the idea of a forced, transactional traditional setup. We value simplicity and character over big celebrations and fuss.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there a way for a shy, grounded girl to meet a decent, mature guy in this city without the "marketplace" feel of matrimonial sites or the chaos of dating apps? I’d love for her to just meet someone for a coffee and see if there’s a spark.
If anyone has advice—or if you happen to know a guy who is also looking for something real and low-key—I’d love to hear your thoughts on how to navigate this.
