I presented strong evidence of cheating to my professor and she did not care
Unfortunately this was a year ago. I was a TA proctoring an exam. I saw a group of 4 students huddled working on it together even though the exam is obviously individual. I collected their exams and saw they had written the same answers line by line. There’s no way this is a coincidence. It was flat out cheating.
I reported this to the professor. The professor told me I should have told them to separate, and unless I had **video proof**, it would not go anywhere and told me to drop it immediately.
In light of the recent cheating scandal I read about here I wish I went straight to the chancellor or something. I feel like it’s too late to do anything about it now.
ETA: this was an upper level BME course.
