Ran into a scissor-tailed flycatcher more than a thousand miles outside of its native range at the Edwin B. Forsythe Wildlife Refuge in NJ, USA. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Had so much fun sharing the discovery with other birders and watching it dive over and over again to snap up bees midair. Praise be to the migration gods!
