As the title says, I'm considering a move to the UK for a job opportunity (in Oxford but living in London and wfh is also an option). To be honest, I feel like I've developed second-hand trauma from the UK-based women in this sub and their experiences with the NHS. Access to specialist care is obviously a major concern with this disease and I would certainly consider not moving if I wasn't confident I could get the care I need.

Are there any positive NHS stories out there? What would your advice be to someone moving to the UK with endo/adeno? What are the practical steps you'd need to do to get referred to the right care? Would it make a meaningful difference to live in London vs. Oxford with respect to specialist care?

I'll probably have my first surgery soon where I currently live (i.e. before I move). Is it a bad idea to move there?
