Context: I saw an amazing girl in EDP lab recently, and she's been on my mind ever since. With the help of a friend who somehow knows everything about everyone, I found out her name, branch, and that she’s in 2nd year (same as me). I also got to know that she’s single and what her type is—and I match most of that pretty well.
The issue is, we have absolutely ZERO overlap. Different branches, no mutual friends, no shared societies. She’s in a coding-focused tech society (the newly revamped one), and I have no connection to that either.
I really want to approach her, but I have no idea how. It’s honestly been eating at me.
I’ve thought about messaging her on Instagram, but we have zero mutuals, so I feel like I’d come across as a complete creep and just get shut down instantly.
LinkedIn is another option since she’s active there, but that somehow feels even weirder.
So what do I do? Do I just DM her and risk coming off as a creep and most definately get rejected , or do I let it go altogether?
PS this is a throwaway account.
