Hey everyone.

I have a question regarding what health and safety requirements you have when preforming gas turbine wash especially regarding the effluent water which is sprayed into the work environment.

I am working at a major European airline where we preform gas turbine washing in a hangar environment 3-4 times a week with no capture method for the effluent water. Primarily on leap 1a and Trent XWB

Management has informed us there is no health hazard regarding the engine wash water.

But I am not so sure due to all the oil contaminants and alloy deposits which is removed during wash cycle.
