Demerger of PF to EPS and query on who is to submit Form 3A to EPFO office
I had raised a request with my previous organization that my claims were getting rejected citing "eps not deducted SUBMIT CLARIFICATION DULY ATTESTED BY EMPLOYER". They did not transfer any money to EPS though it was mandatory in my case. I was also a fresher then so I didn't have an exisiting PF or EPS account.
They informed me that for the demerger process, I have to submit form 3A to the EPFO office and that they will send me the documents to submit. I dont live in Delhi anymore and I was instructed to submit in Delhi office only.
I read online that employer is supposed to submit these forms and not the employee. Is there any such clause and if there is, I am clrealy getting duped right?
