Hi, I have a question about the stability of ascorbic acid in a 0.1% H3PO4 solution. The solution has a concentration of 0.02 mg/mL. Over the course of a few hours, the ascorbate peak drops (RSD% = 3%). If I add an EDTA-Fe complex to the standard solution, the degradation stops or at least decreases dramatically. However, I'm not clear on the mechanism. Could someone explain it to me?

Hi, I have a problem with my HPLC. First of all, I have fluctuating pressures. Furthermore, my thiamine, which is my analyte and doesn't interact with the column, has suffered a significant loss of resolution. Its height has dropped by 80%. Are these two problems related?
