Have any of you bought just a single iron to try out before buying the whole set?

I done this a couple times and I think it was a good idea. With customization offered by most club makers I can leave out the club I bought e.g.6,8,9,PW,A since it was the 7 iron I bought as a single club.

M65 14 weeks:I bought a pair of orthopedic shoes recommended by doctors, but it was designed for people with foot problems like plantar fasciitis. If you are wearing a shoe with a high heel drop 8 to 14 mm it will make your foot hit the ground heel first and it will take the initial weight of your body and it will go straight to your THR. Also when you have high arch support insoles it will make your foot supinate, weight is transferred to outside of foot which also put a lot of force directly into hip. I was puzzled of why only when i went walking that the pain got bad and took a day or two for inflamation to go back down. I am now wearing a 4 mm heel drop shoe, with slight arc support with a high cushioned heel. I can walk and do things now without any real pain or discomfort. New balance fresh foam V6 not a endorsement of anything just stating what i am wearing.

Addition info 4/28: Ideally you want a midsole foot strike which spread out the foot strike when hitting the ground and then to the front of the foot instead the heel taking the brunt of the initial foot strike.
