Thigh Lipo + Hip Dip Fat Graft at Fitting Clinic Seoul

Thigh Lipo + Hip Dip Fat Graft at Fitting Clinic Seoul

Doctor's Name: Dr. Kim Yun Seok (Lead Surgeon)

Clinic Name: Fitting Clinic (Seoul)

Procedure(s): Thigh liposuction + hip dip fat grafting

Date of Procedure: 03/2026

Why I wanted liposuction

For years I've been trying to fix my thighs. I've tried literally everything such as clean eating, gym 5x a week and running. Nothing touched the saddle bags on the sides of my thighs. And paired with my hip dips, my lower body proportion was giving rectangle when I wanted hourglass lol.

At a certain point you kinda have to accept that genetics are genetics and some fat deposits just will not leave no matter what you do. So I started researching thigh lipo + hip dip fat graft as a combo, because it made sense to take the fat from where I didn't want it and put it where I DID want it.

Why I chose Fitting

  1. In-clinic English translator.

I know a lot of Seoul clinics have "English support" but it usually means a coordinator who responds to your DMs and then disappears once you land. Fitting's translator was actually IN the clinic with me during the entire consultation, the pre-op prep, and all my post-op check-ins. She stayed with me the whole time. Never once did I feel lost or unsure of what was happening. Huge deal when you're already nervous about surgery in a foreign country.

  1. BA (before/after) photos

Most clinics show you like 5-6 cherry-picked BA photos and call it a day. Fitting had an actual archive of results to look through, including body types similar to mine. I could see exactly what kind of line they go for and it was consistent across patients. Their results lean natural and proportional, not that overdone "did too much" look you see sometimes.

The consult itself was super thorough. Dr. Kim and the team walked me through exactly what they could and couldn't do, what realistic results would look like, and they didn't oversell me.

Procedure day

Genuinely the easiest surgery experience I've had, and I've had a few small skin procedures before. Took only a few hours. Pain level was minimal that I expected. Just tenderness and some swelling.

Recovery

Day 1–3: Most swelling, felt kinda puffy but not painful. Just tight from the compression garment.

Day 4–7: Started noticing the shape change, bruising faded faster than expected.

Week 2: Felt basically normal, back to walking around Seoul, cafe hopping, etc.

Week 3–4:Hip dip fat graft started settling, you could see the curve forming. Some of the grafted fat reabsorbs (normal, they over-inject on purpose to account for this) so it's a waiting game for the final result.

Things that helped my recovery:

  • Wearing the compression garment religiously (I know it's annoying, wear it anyway)
  • Cutting salt way down — sodium = more swelling
  • Lots of water, lots of protein, clean eating
  • Sleeping on my back (annoying but necessary for the graft to settle)
  • Lymphatic massage after the clinic cleared me
  • Molding and stretching video clinic sent me - followed this almost everyday to reduce swelling as fast as possible

Results so far

I was scared of liposuction complications such as lumps and biobond effect, but luckily I didn't have of them. My saddle bags are gone and my hips finally have a curve. I especially love how all my jeans fit now that the transition from my waist to hip to thigh flows so smoothly, without that weird dip.I never regret getting this surgery done. The consultation was thorough, the translator was amazing, the surgery was smooth, the recovery was manageable, and the results match exactly what I asked for.
