I got the traps for Maxus Dragonoid a few days ago and I want to customize them what should I use I heard gundam markers but i'll need to order them and they don't have a set with the 6 colors i need

I heard i can use nail polish but im scared i'll mess up and ruin my traps, is there other type of markers o paint i can use?
