Riding the Lighting
Can I just say something real quick? Season 1 episode 14, Riding the Lightning, is probably one of IF not my favorite episode of Criminal Minds. I've re-watched this series countless times, and this is an episode I must watch with full attention. The emotion, the acting, the SACRIFICE of a selfless mother. It's so devastatingly beautiful. It is the perfect mixture of a sad and happy ending. Just absolutely brilliant. The plot for Gideon was *chefs kiss* in the way that you see for the first time him compare himself to someone he was wrong about from the beginning. Sarah Jean gets him to open up about his son, and she finds a way to relate her tragic story to his.
