Hampton Parent of a Class of 2027 student here - Hampton University Cybersecurity Department needs improvement.
The curriculum is OUTDATED. The Dean, calls them stupid and tells them to SHUT UP! The ENTIRE department needs to be evaluated. The verbal abuse is not the standard of excellence.
Using reverse psychology on the student because they know credits do not transfer for the following major should be addressed. No student should feel defeated, deprived and unworthy. No funding for tutoring, no internships and no mentorship. The professors / dean lack real leadership and innovation skills. Students here are just doing the best they can with the only available resources provided to them, due to the lack luster, piss poor teaching and poor communication.
Again, the cybersecurity department needs improvement IMMEDIATELY. No student should feel unworthy and uncomfortable due to verbal abuse usage during class.
