Western Preferences
I have seen a trend of people suddenly thinking that women have more rights in Western countries as compared to Pakistan and I can't help but see the Western propaganda machine working. Cause you don't have to look far to see that is not true. According to RAINN almost 98% cases of SA and abuse never get justice in the US. If you look into it. The same is with many other western countries. Where many convicted people of Child abuse or grooming barely get a slap on the wrist.
Also, don't get me started on what they found when they investigated ICE detention centers where SA was so rampart and half of the 13 year old in their centers were pregnant cause of rape.
Also, if any of you have been to these western countries especially as girl who wear the hijab you will also see a rise in islamophobia. With actual cases of white men trying to take off the hijab by force or being called slurs.
So, the only difference left is that in Pakistan men stare at girls. The reason of this difference is of upbringing and also the small fact that I'm western countries sex is treated as something normal. So, during the peak age of 18 to 30 when men hormones are at their peak and at an uncontrollable range. The western people don't spend those years just trying to make money and settle down so they can get married and finally do it. They are just living the life. I am not saying this is correct. Pre marital sex is never correct but the fact is nikkah has been made so difficult that Zina has become easier.
Also, even if you go to western countries most of you will never go to the rural or regional areas or areas that are not in the capital. I have been to some central Asian and European countries and when I left their capital and went to other cities. Guess what I found? Yup, men staring at women.
Now I know this is a long one and I won't stretch it anymore. I will end this by saying. The fact that women have any rights or women get any justice in the west is wrong. There's no such thing. As sad as it is. Women are suffering world wide and nothing is being done about it.
Also, I know many of the Pakistan haters will see this post and start going crazy as somehow I am defending Pakistan. But, they should check their hypocrisy first. I am not blindly hating my country and it's people I am discussing a problem that exist world wide and doesn't magically disappear by changing countries.
Fictional writing
Drop your favorite quotes from any piece of fiction.
Mine is.
“It was the kind of smile that made you want to kill yourself.” — No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai
Fictional despair
What's the most messed up, depressing or dark fiction you have read, watched or played. Could be anything a novel, light novel, VN, manga, manhwa. Anything. For me I think it's No longer human, oyasumi pun pun, blood meridian, I have no mouth and I must scream and more (but I can't remember)
Hyperhidrosis
Today I am going to talk about a condition that is becoming normal in Pakistan. The problem is that most people don't realize they have it and yes, it's also genetic.
Now, hyperhidrosis means excessive sweating due to the sweat pores being more sensitive to change in temperature or can be induced by stress, anxiety and shock as well. Now, for some people they can use cream or take medicine with some side effects, botox or even surgery. But, that is a long topic. So, no reason to discuss the cure. I will also not be diving into primary (genetic) and secondary (due to hyperthyroidism, diabetes, infection etc) hyperhidrosis as well.
The problem with this codition is that it's mostly overlooked especially in this climate. But, when your sweating in -24 Celsius and also your sweating while everyone else isn't. Something has to be wrong. But, people say. Oh it's good to sweat. No, it isn't. It's never good. It just leads to dehydration. How can it be good?. Anyway, another problem is that. It manifest in different ways. Some have it on their palms and soles. So they got sweaty palms and soles. Some have it on their face and scalp. So, they're scalp is thin and riddled with infection and hairloss cause of it and they look like they just came out of the shower. Some have it on their shoulders, lower bellies and some have it in all those places. This is a real problem and not many know of it. So, if you find yourself sweating buckets while everyone else is fine. You might have a problem. This also leads to loss of water, obviously but also loss of minerals like potassium. So, stay hydrated and get your minerals.
You become what you hate
Nowadays I have seen a rise in this. As I have seen people thinking two wrongs make a right. This especially seems to be the case with misandry.
Like misogyny, misandry does exist and the same way I will call out misogyny when I see it and even cut contact with such people. Similarly I will call out misandry when I see it. But, the fact is the people that do this say, we do this cause of misogyny and this and that. But, again two wrongs never make a right. Both are wrong and both shouldn't be done and spoken against. Your against misogyny but you act similar to these people when the gender reverses? How is that okay?. I know Pakistan has a bigger misogyny problem and that needs to be fixed. But, to fix that you can't just be a misandrist and just push people away by your troll like behavior. Be better. Stop this hate. Both genders needs the other to exist. You won't exist without each other so why hate each other. It's just plain dumb.
Also, this post isn't a place to voice misogyny.
I think by now many know about this and the cruise ship incident and I am here to tell you. No, it's not another covid. This virus has been around for some time and it mainly spreads by rats, rodents and mice. So, unless your living in a house with rats, mice and eating their droppings and urine. Your safe.
What, you see about it online. That it spreads from human to human is wrong. The strain identified don't work like that. So, don't panic and don't spread misinformation and relax.
Are there too many trolls in this subreddit or people just don't know how argument works? There is one to argue in good faith and one to just be a troll. An argument works by denying what the other person said with proof and it should be correct. I see people here making an argument where one doesn't exist or just giving rare examples with a source like trust me bro. At the same time unable to deny anything the poster has said and just saying they are wrong. Like why comment? Cause it hurts your feelings? Or it doesn't suits your narrative?
I know it's long. But, if your interested in MBBS. Please read it.
In Pakistan there seems to be a trend of people wanting to do MBBS badly. Without understanding what it means and what it will get you.
For starters MBBS is very difficult to get in and even if you do. You have to pay a lot of money in fees and other costs. Which makes the cost go more than 2 crore for the 5 years. I have seen people sell their lands for this. After all of that you would expect to get a great pay, right?. After all you see all these doctors making millions. Nope. That is all false. The doctors you see are already in their 30s, 40s and even 50s. Meaning they had at a minimum 20 year head start. Your life is not going to be like this. You will at first do house job, which means you get paid less than 50k pkr a month. Yes, that's your salary and in some cases if you understand that after house job you do want a job and not be unemployed (Yes, that's also a risk, considering how there's 1 doctor for nearly 800 people. You may still be unemployed if you don't do your house job at a good hospital and make connections) you move to a better hospital but that means you won't get paid. There's an actual law that allows this to happen and even after your done with house job you will never make more than 70k. Even during fcps which is the specialization program you will be paid 70k at most during your 5 years and even to get into fcps many people have to work as MO (Medical officer) for 3-4 years. So, now after graduation at the minimum it's 10 years of your life getting paid 70k a month at best. That's if everything goes right. After fcps you still have to make connections and get more experience until you finally start making good money and even if you decide to go to gulf you will get paid half of what people with western degrees get paid.
Now, we will discuss work timing. In Pakistan there's no law about overtime pay or safety timing. At house job you will work 9-9 minimum. So your shortest shift is 12 hours and sometimes you will even have to work 36 hours with some time to take a nap in the most horrible room you can find. Also, working in understaffed conditions cause the government doesn't give two fs about you.
Now, you may wonder. Why? Why live like this?. Answer is easy. Before you can even get a job you sign a contract that's specifically says you can't go on strike or join a union if you do. You will never get a job in Pakistan.
So, now the best option is to go abroad, right?. Well wrong again. UK is now closed for nobody knows how long. Gulf is also closed cause war and increasing racism. USA? Well good luck getting at least 1 crore for the expenses and passing 3 exams that cost a lot and emailing thousand of people to get some US clinical experience. Same stuff with other countries. So, please for yourself and family. Chose a different field. The situation here is f'ed and nobody is going to do anything about it.
Nowadays people are easily manipulated by hate. I have seen people hate others just because of colour, race, ethnicity and gender. Even though that person has meant no harm to them or frankly doesn't even know them. This kind of thing isn't common to western people hating brown and black people or Arabic people hating non arabs. It's also engraved in Pakistan. Especially how I have experienced and seen people in Pakistan hate each other just because they are of different race or ethnicity while at the same time being slaves to the white people in the west. The sad part is we already know this and we do nothing to stop It and the cycle continues
It should make one think why are the whites so much better. By better I mean in technology and medicine and other factors. Their currency and passport is stronger as well. Why? Aren't they the same? Humans like us?. The simple reason. The white looks out for his fellow white. While we are busy hating each other cause we are influenced from a young age.
We are taught that somehow if something bad happens to you. It's not, cause of the government that should be helping you but cause of someone that lives far away from you and doesn't even know you exist. We as people have fallen behind. We have been consumed by our hate and that has led to a fall in intelligence and harmony. As sad as it is for me to say. With how Muslims are being treated world wide. Be it Myanmar, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Iraq and the list goes on. We have failed our fellow brothers. We have failed ourselves. We, who blame the older generations for our suffering have failed the next generation. Humanity has lost and we are the reason for it.
For the ladies. If you have any hair on your face. That's excessive or too much acne with irregular periods get it checked.
For men. If your hair is falling a lot and you see dandruff that isn't going away and now is in your beard as well. It's an infection not normal. Get it checked.
People that like to go out in the heat with no sun screens on. Check for any moles you haven't seen before. And particularly see if it has two different colours with irregular borders
If you feel thirsty no matter how much you drink and this leads you to drink a lot of water and frequent trips to the bathroom. Get it checked.
If you have a high fever that comes and goes and you sweat at night while sleeping get it checked. If you sweat while sleeping even when the AC is on and it's cold. Then get it checked.
If you get tired a lot even after resting. Get it checked.
If you pee a lot but don't drink much water. Get it checked
If you feel any tingling or numbness in hands and feet. Get it checked.
If you have a cough for more than 3 weeks. Get it checked.
Edit: if you see any bulge or skin growth. Anywhere on your neck or shoulder or in the armpits and near your genitals or lower belly (below the navel). Obviously get it checked
This question is for the ladies.
Nowadays as observed there has been a sharp rise in cases related to PCOS and other ovarian cysts and related problems in Pakistan. This rise is very much concerning. Same with IBS and other diseases like celiac and lactose intolerance. There's something highly wrong with Pakistan. Yes PCOS is common but the rise as seen in Pakistan is problematic.
This can be related to diet or environmental factors and even genetics. As girls that have PCOS and insulin resistance today have a chance of passing that on to the next generation.
My question is. Has it truly become that common? If yes what's the biggest factor for it according to you?

Chapter 3:
I jolt awake.
The hand is real.
The detective’s voice cuts through the fog. He’s staring at me, concerned. “What’s wrong with you? I’ve been calling you.”
I blink, forcing the room back into place. The mirror is just a mirror again.
“Long night,” I mutter.
He doesn’t buy it, but he doesn’t push. “Get it together. We’ve got work.”
Back at the precinct, the air feels heavier than usual.
Another body. Another scene painted in blood.
Not the first.
Won’t be the last.
A serial killer. Female. That’s all we know.
They call her the Blood Woman.
No witnesses. No pattern. Just drained bodies and rooms turned into canvases.
The detective dives back into the case. I try to do the same. Reports. Patrols. Routine.
Everything feels… normal.
Too normal.
Night falls.
I’m driving home when I see someone.
Standing in a narrow alley, half swallowed by darkness.
A woman.
Still. Waiting.
As I pass, she turns her head, too smoothly, and looks straight at me.
She smiles.
Then she waves.
Like she knows me.
I don’t stop.
I can’t.
But in the rearview mirror
She’s still there.
Closer than she should be.
I get home. Lock the door. Check it twice.
The bed waits.
I stare at it.
Sleep means dreams.
But staying awake…
Means to be haunted.
And something tells me
One of them is finally going to be the end of me

Chapter 2:
I wake up.
This time, it feels real. Sunlight bleeds through the window, too bright, too sharp. I’m awake, but the weight in my chest hasn’t left. It never does. Ever since that day… when laughter rotted into screams.
I get up anyway. I have to.
The precinct needs me.
The crime scene is already waiting.
A detective stands outside, silent. We enter.
The room is wrong.
The walls aren’t just stained they’re painted. Thick, dark blood, smeared like someone took their time. It makes me want to vomit but I can't. On the bed lies a man. Or what’s left of one. His body is shriveled, hollowed, like something drank him dry from the inside.
I move closer, forcing myself to breathe.
Then I see it. He has no eyes. I shiver. The detective tells me to look for clues.
He points towards the bathroom. I walk there. There I see
I see.
A mirror.
I don’t want to look but I do.
He’s there.
The same man from my dreams.
He stares at me… and slowly smiles.
I don’t.
Because I’m not moving.
He is.
My throat tightens.
This isn’t over.
This isn’t real.
Or maybe
A cold hand grips my shoulder.
And this time… I know it didn’t come from behind me.
