Looking for NIW attorney recommendations — data science / finance background, not the typical STEM researcher profile
Hi all! I am looking for attorney recommendations for an EB-2 NIW self-petition and would appreciate any firsthand experiences.
Background: Data scientist with a quantitative finance focus. Graduate degrees. Several years of experience at well-known institutions in the industry. Will be based in the US later this year.
Why NIW: Family reasons make accelerating the green card timeline important to us, and NIW removes the PERM dependency if the case holds up.
The challenge: Most NIW content I see is geared toward academic researchers or physicians. My proposed endeavor would sit at the intersection of data science and financial markets. Looking for an attorney who has built NIW narratives for finance or data professionals, not someone who will slot me into a researcher template.
Questions:
