Me and my bf just got a new cat, 4 years old. He came from an elderly couple who was moving and couldn't take him with. He is the most affectionate cat I've ever met. He basically sleeps with us most nights. But the first night he kept me up all night with constantly jumping and pawing at me, then meowing. And his meows are LOUD! We've recently started opening the doors to the rest of the house, just for the living room and kitchen because he hates when we don't let him follow us everywhere, he literally follows us to the bathroom, sits on the counter and watches us 😂 but now only in the very early hours of the morning he goes in the hallway and starts meowing like no tomorrow, Everytime I checked on him he's fine, just sitting there meowing probably wanting me to follow. Had any cats y'all have had does it and.. how do you make it stop? It's so loud and I wanna sleep 😭 it only starts past 3am, and I've tried playing with him while I'm home but he doesn't like any of the toys we've gotten him besides the scratchers... Maybe he just wants company? I'm not sure. But I really want it to stop. I'm considering closing the doors at night to keep him in our bedroom so he stops meowing. Any advice?

A little background, I have PCOS but this has NEVER happened to me before i had my period and it lasted a straight 3 weeks 2 weeks ago. My period usually is on and off for about 2-3 months but now it's back. I've been bleeding once or twice every week from the end of my period and it's either a shit ton of blood in one go or just a little bit. My sister thinks it might be menopause? But I'm 24. She said she used to be just as stressed out as I am currently and she had her period for a month long and then didn't have it for 2 fucking years 😵‍💫 anyone else had this happen? It's been really frustrating going out and suddenly bleeding when I least expect it, especially when it happens at work 😭
